- small internship at startup (10 - 20 hrs weekly)
Essay:
- Being afraid of my culture going to a white dominant school
Basically UT reviews your application holistically - meaning they factor in stuff outside of academics just as much as academics. Do as much as possible outside of school to build a strong application (gotta do well in school ofc still). I highly recommend doing stuff that resonates with the major you are applying for (like doing a business internship if applying to McCombs) and any leadership activities within your major (applying as bio major, trying running for leadership role in red cross or science club).
I will create 2 more posts (one about writing a college essay and another studying for ACT/SAT).
